To produce stud bolts, fixed equipment and machine tool processing are necessary. The processing procedure is relatively straightforward and consists of several key steps. The first step involves extracting the material from its source. Once this is completed, the next step can commence. In the second step, a cutting machine is utilized to precisely cut the long material into the desired length as per the customer's specifications. This marks the completion of the second process. Moving on to the third step, the cut short material is placed onto a thread rolling machine to generate the necessary threads. This is typically done for ordinary stud bolts, but additional processes may be required for special requirements.

 

Screws and bolts may look alike, but bolts typically have a larger diameter. Stud bolts, sometimes called studs, lack a head and have threaded ends with a smooth rod in the middle. Studs are often used on large equipment like gear racks, but they can become loose over time due to vibration and changes in temperature. As a result, it's essential to maintain them regularly to prevent failure. In cases where stud or anchor bolts experience long-term friction, they may develop problems that cause the engine to run poorly or emit abnormal noises. To fix these issues, the engine oil pan must be removed, and the bearing bushes and their clearances must be carefully inspected. If the gap between the bearing bushes is too large, they should be replaced promptly. When replacing stud bolts, connecting rod bolts should be replaced as well. It's also crucial to stop and investigate if there are any abnormalities in the engine's performance to prevent significant issues from occurring, especially when operating large equipment like nail-making machines.

It is important to conduct regular inspections on newly replaced stud bolts and other accessories to ensure their reliability. When inspecting the stud bolt, particular attention should be given to the head and guide parts. It is vital to verify that there are no cracks or dents present in any of the thread sections and to check for changes in the tooth shape of the studs. If any abnormalities or issues are detected, the stud bolts should not be reused at all.

 

When installing the connecting rod cover, one must use a torque wrench in accordance with specified standards. The torque applied should neither be too large nor too small and should comply with the manufacturer's recommendations. It is also crucial to choose stud bolts and studs from a reputable manufacturer to ensure maximum safety and reliability.
