The main purpose of stud bolts

When installing accessories on large equipment like sight glass, mechanical seal seat, and deceleration frame, the use of stud bolts is highly recommended. This is because the bolt's one end is screwed into the main body, and the other end is equipped with a nut after the accessory is installed. Since such accessories are often disassembled, the threads could easily get worn or damaged. Hence, the use of stud bolts makes it convenient to replace them.

In situations where the connecting body is extremely thick and the bolt length is excessively long, it becomes necessary to use stud bolts instead. By using stud bolts, it becomes possible to effectively tighten the two separate components together, even with such a large gap between them. This is why stud bolts are commonly utilized for heavy-duty machinery and structures, where the typical bolt and nut combination simply wouldn't provide sufficient support.

The purpose of its usage is to establish connections between heavy-duty plates and locations where utilizing hexagonal bolts is inconvenient, such as suspension components for concrete roof trusses, monorail beam suspension parts for roof beams, and more.
